On Wednesday February 26th, señora Ibanez’s Spanish 3 students presented their own version of “Carnaval de Barranquilla”. This is is one of Colombia’s most important folkloric celebrations, and the second biggest carnival in the world. The carnaval is a mixture of the European, African and Indian traditions, dances and music. Among, dances, poems and creative and colorful decorations, students were able to bring to life what they learned in class.
